Apples

Apples are a powerful, nutrient-packed fruit with remarkable anti-inflammatory properties related to conditions like encephalitis, IBS, and viral infections by lowering bacterial and viral loads in the body.

Apples also contain phytochemicals such as flavonoids, anthocyanins, and rutin, which aid in detoxifying the body from heavy metals, radiation, and toxins like MSG. Additionally, their amino acids, glutamine and serine, support brain health, while their antioxidant properties improve skin, lymphatic circulation, and blood sugar regulation.

Apples are also known as a superior colon cleanser, with pectin helping to remove harmful bacteria, viruses, and toxins from the digestive system.

They are similarly beneficial for digestive issues like SIBO and offer deep hydration with trace minerals and electrolytes. Rich in malic and tartaric acids, apples support liver detoxification and help prevent various cancers.

Their anti-inflammatory effects are especially beneficial for autoimmune disorders, and apple pectin plays a key role in removing toxic heavy metals from the body. Moreover, apples can aid in weight loss by limiting fat absorption, making them a valuable addition to a healthy diet.

Step-by-step instructions to turn theory into healing.

There is almost no greater meditation than going apple-picking. While the season is nearly over, you might still be able to find an orchard or two nearby that have them. Otherwise, just go to your local supermarket and pick some up (preferably organic).

A super quick and easy nutritious applesauce: blend 2 raw apples with 3 dates and a pinch of cinnamon in the food processor.

Why do you capitalize certain words?

If you ever see me capitalizing certain words, there is a reason.

For instance, there is joy, and then there is Joy. The former is a conditional response as it relates to the preferences of the mind. The second is the unconditioned response of the heart when one surrenders themselves completely.

Or source versus Source. Lowercase indicates the relative person or place that a thing can be obtained from. Uppercase signals the absolute origin of all phenomena.

Or knowing versus Knowing. One is having confidence in a fact; and the other is a detached view of what is.

Or moment versus the Moment. The former describes a point in time, while the latter describes the timeless condition in which our lives take place on.

In all cases, capitalization acknowledges that there are levels to this world, and that the transcendental view of a topic is distinct and worthy of highlighting.

“Agreement 1: Be impeccable with your word.” — Don Miguel Ruiz

“Agreement 1: Be impeccable with your word.” — Don Miguel Ruiz

This is Part 1 of 4 on a series about the Four Agreements.

As one walks the Path, it becomes clear how Reality is formed and sustained — through the Word.

The Word is the energy that animates all of creation — the infinitely intelligent vibrational power that births and upholds manifest reality.

In the Mandukya Upanishad, the Word is translated as ‘Om ॐ’. It is “all that was, all that is, all that will ever be, and all else that may exist beyond the bounds of time.” [Verse 1.1.1]

In the Bible, the Word is described as being “at the Beginning,” and “with God,” and “as God.” [John 1:1]

In the Quran, it is explained that God must only say ‘Be’ and it is. [Surah Al-Baqarah 2:117]

In summary, according to doctrine (and verifiable through deep meditation), existence is generated according to the Supreme desire and will — God’s Word. And you, being a fractal of God, have this ability, too.

In effect, your word — what you claim — is your superpower, because it creates the life you live. For you to speak one thing but do another is to denigrate the potency of your manifestation abilities, thus making life less elastic and more challenging.

In practice, that means being impeccable with your word by saying only what you mean, avoiding using your word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others, and utilizing the power of the Word in the direction of Truth and Love.
